A 460 or 351 or 5.4 or 4.6 or especially the straight six and the C6 auto are 10x we good as the current junk on offer in the f150. Only the coyote and 6.2 are any good. Don’t get me started on the new diesels. The 7.3 was second only to the 5.9 Cummins in reliability whereas the 6.7 is unreliable and expensive crap. The only decent full size engines now are in the tundra. Even GM has gone direct injection and too many speeds auto. On the plus side the aluminum bodies on the fords don’t rust which is what kills all the old trucks.
Give me a 5.9 cummins and an NV4500 manual anyday. |
