Date: April 22nd, 2018 11:06 PM Author: diverse church juggernaut no usb port. had to buy a $70 dongle. no HDMI port to connect to an external monitor. see dongle. apparently connecting a monitor and peripherals through the dongle kills the motherboard. i had to take it in twice already to apple store.
they crammed everything into a smaller body, leading to inferior heat dissipation than the older model. so the fan kicks in every time i try to do something, and often when i'm not doing anything at all. it is very loud.
the keyboard jams easily.
i wish i could trade it for the 2015 macbook pro. |

15" MBP with 16GB and SSD, has USB and HDMI no discrete GPU but I have a desktop PC if I really want to play a game that needs it which is rare

The USB-C ports are by far the worst part though. So many times I go to plug in a printer or something and then I have to find the damn connector.
Also do NOT pop the keys off to clean them. You have to have the whole top case replaced. The keys are not removable anymore. |
