I shared an anecdote "in an email" but "on a blog".

I'm waiting "in line" and I'm waiting "on line" (this one is more a NYC thing that is still not very clear).

I can't think of more examples right now, but they come up on a fucking daily basis. WTF is with this language shit?

"in an email" is fine. "on a blog" is fine, but "in a blog" is not - you would use "in a blogpost".
