Just before he did it he texted his sister, "I'm tired. Put me next to mommy and daddy."
She tried calling him back but he turned his phone off.
He was working two jobs. One at Wal-Mart and one at IHOP. Wal-Mart laid him off in January and he just lost his job at IHOP before he offed himself.
The County of San Diego tracked him down in Texas and started garnishing his wages because one of his baby-mommas had received some sort of gov't assistance. When that happens, they come after the baby-daddy to pay them back. The County is brutal. They don't give a fuck.
They were taking most of his Wal-Mart pay, and he was living off of his IHOP job. Then when Wal-Mart laid him off, the County started garnishing his IHOP job.
His live-in girlfriend was harassing him about not contributing towards his half of the expenses. He wanted out, but had nowhere to go.
He had a cousin in Dallas who said he would take him in, but his truck wouldn't have made it to Dallas and he couldn't afford the $125 part to fix it. So he gave up.

Also, I looked at the study about weed lowering sperm count. Those studies were about *smoking* weed. Smoking, by itself, lowers sperm count so I'm not sure if weed is the culprit there. |

I was just out of the shower finishing up shaving my head when the aunt called and asked to speak to me which we both thought was weird.
I put it on speaker and was all, "Hello?"
Her aunt goes, "Is this on speakerphone?"
I said yeah, I'm shaving, and she goes, "Oh, ok. Is your fiance next to you?"
"Yes," I said.
"Hold her . . ." said the aunt and instantly my black fiance started shrieking hysterically and crying, "Nooo!!!"
Her aunt, whom I've never spoken to before, has a strange cry that sounds like a laugh so, to me, it sounded like she was laughing.
I was wondering for a few seconds whether it was all a joke.
While my black fiance was on the floor crying hysterically, her mother called my phone. I answered and her mother goes, "Hold my baby, I'm on my way."
Thankfully that Saturday was our "date night". One Saturday a month we go out on a date instead of me playing pool. We just stayed in that night so I didn't lose a night of playing pool. Silver linings. |
