Lol, GreatSchools rating went from being based on test scores to DIVERSITY

In some states*, the GreatSchools Rating was also based on student progress (or “growth”) and college readiness data (SAT/ACT participation and/or performance and/or graduation rates). Our school profiles now include important information in addition to test scores — factors that make a big difference in how children experience school, such as how much a school helps students improve academically, how well a school supports students from different socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic groups, and whether or not some groups of students are disproportionately affected by the school’s discipline and attendance policies. Many of these important themes now have their own rating, and these themed ratings are incorporated into the school’s overall GreatSchools Summary Rating. Date: April 24th, 2018 6:11 PM Author: supple principal's office there is also the extremely devious thing libs do when they rank schools by state - they don't just take the numbers and rank according to actual performance; they "norm" scores by interpolating what a state's scores WOULD look like if that state had different demographics.
ie, "idaho scores well in the raw numbers, but if we break it down by race, we see that idaho hispanics aren't doing as well, and so if idaho's hispanic student population was the same as the national average, idaho WOULD be lower, so, we'll rank idaho lower."
not flame. many people don't realize that libs do this. and libs don't go out of their way to advertise their methodology for some reason... |

Race/ethnicity This shows Test Score Ratings for different races/ethnicities. Big differences may suggest that some student groups are not getting the support they need to succeed. ________________________________________ All students - 9/10 Hispanic (38% of students ) - 7/10 White (22% of students ) - 10/10 Asian (16% of students ) - 10/10
