Head upstairs and grab a glass of champagne on the balcony near the Chagall mural, enjoy watching people as they come in.
Get to your seats 5 mins before curtain. Just relax and take it in. Honestly I've never had a bad time there. At worst I guess you might doze off with some peaceful music. But reading the titles usually keeps you awake.
Other thing is to read the program and see if you can figure out how the (((patrons))) made their money. |

I guess what i don’t really appreciate is the singing. while i’m sure that is the most technically difficult aspect of the performance and the main reason people go to see an opera, it does nothing for me.
