2. Make sure you're living in a good enough school district or have plans to send him to private school
3. Encourage him to start doing a variety of activities but if he's gonna be short, you know, make it soccer and debate instead of basketball and modeling
4. Teach him from an early age that math is really fucking important
5. Have a wife that sees education as the most important thing
6. I strongly recommend getting him hooked on methanphetamines like adderall
I actually don't have a lot of good, unique advice for child raising, bro, as I don't have one. I just think a kid with good parents at a reasonable enough school can at the LEAST get into a Cornell like school without being some superstar. And that's more than good enough. |

You take that googly eyed little bastard and read to him every single night, starting now. Start w the baby shit, silly words, opposites books--point to the words, speak slowly and gently, let the baby relax in the sound of your voice--and do that every fucking night like vitamins. Move on to the big dog little dog story--we read that shit like 1000 times and dr. seuss. man that fucking dr. seuss teaches them to read. Point to each letter word as you move along. speak in deep masculine, soothing voice. nonstop. then--have them watch the fucking alphabet song on youtube like 1000x per day. sing it with them. Point out words and numbers you see in day to day. My kid was reading like a mother fucker at 3. Do that and yours will too. Also talk to them all the time, just about crazy shit like theres a car, it has round tires, big rubbery round tires lke your ball. do they bounce? I wonder if those tires would bounce like a ball. Nonstop chatter like that all the fucking time. |
