At the end of the day, men are expected to take the lead. This actually forces a lot of unique mechanics. Both genders screen, just as different stages of socialization.
So yeah, it's infinitely harder for men to get matches on dating apps. But it's much harder for women to get second dates.
50th percentile guys actually do okay because they can always just spam the number games. Way easier to swipe 1000 women and get that one swipe than to go out with men 1000 times on dates, especially because so many men DEMAND early sex. Because at a certain time, you will just be totally mentally and physically blown out.
While women can't really spam the number games like that. So 50th percentile women are just stuck forever waiting for CHADOT. The pain of having to swipe 10000 women is already traumatizing - now imagine the mental trauma if you had to do 1000 dates with pump & dump. And your sexual attractiveness is dropping the ENTIRE TIME.
However, 20th percentile men are almost certainly worse than 20th percentile women. Because no person anywhere is ever willing to give a 20th percentile man the time of their day. Thus the incel phenomenon.
My theory also helps explain the fact that women in modernity are SIGNIFICANTLY more miserable than men on aggregate - yet the most miserable people all appear to be incel men.
The incel.meme guys are completely correct about their lots in life, but I think their MAF misogyny at "staceys" (which is understandable considering how badly society has destroyed them) blinds them to the fact that women are not actually doing well either. |

So if you're a guy in the 20th percentile, you're a guy in the 20th percentile to all women. But if you're a woman who's generally in the 20th percentile, you're in some guy's 80th percentile and thanks to the internet you'll find him easily (or, really, he'll find you if you install a dating app).
So a 20th percentile man is truly fucked and in a far worse position than a 20th percentile women, even if a 50th percentile man is better off than a 50th percentile woman. |
