you hear this over and over from various sources
you need to find something that really stimulates you.
all of the most successful people in the world are doing things that they love.

"all of the most successful people in the world are doing things that they love"
99% of the population have nothing in common with "the most successful people in the world." Seriously.

Again, very sad. Doesn’t your wife make over 200k, 290k HHI wouldn’t be enough to pursue a passions. Or would you feel intimidated with wife making that much more
Also, lol at liking the actual day to day of compliance. I’m there now. It’s fine, but tolerable is more what it is...

i agree you should do what you love, but few people can monetize what they love, and even fewer can monetize what they love at a rate that suits their desired standard of living
to the extent that there's a gap between how much you can make doing what you love and how much you feel you need to earn to feel fulfilled in life, you can close it by (a) reexamining your values and seeing if you can't further cut costs and expenses down to the essentials and/or (b) choosing a career with the best effort-to-earnings ratio (i.e., the optimal balance between what you're good at and what pays well).
loving your job can make you better at it if it makes you more engaged and results in better work product, but you don't need to love something to be efficient / effective at it.
the point of all this is to optimize for free time and earnings, so that you can dedicate as much of your free time as possible to doing what you love without falling below your minimum standard of living
