I think that the only really "honest" type of art or antiquities dealing has to do with ancient shit or at least stuff from the early modern or before period - because of this very reason - its absurd.
Bloomberg did an article about how even a hundred years ago gallery owners were running epic flame with a bunch of artists who dropped into obscurity in a matter of decades and now their works cost nothing |
