I also take the longest showers which I attribute to simulating the womb I left too early

I was a scrawny kid, am above average height, am above average weight as an adult (overweight is a typical outcome of preterm birth which may have more to do with typical SES of typical preterm moms than the birth itself)

i used inhalers as a kid. i try to stay away from them now and just fight through it.

my problem is that even when i am in good shape, my aerobic capacity is shit. i never ran more than 2.5 miles at a time even when i was super fit. and when i stop exercising, my lung capacity immediately reverts to that of a 70 year old.

my body tends toward inflammation, including the lungs; don't know if it's all related or not.

interesting you mention the showers and womb simulation. i like being in rooms with closed doors, and i have a tendency to ball up my posture in sleep and otherwise, and i always wonder if that is connected to spending the first couple of weeks of my life in an incubator.
