Don’t know his background. Dartmouth only got Asians who were rejected from HYPC but didn’t want the stain of attending Cornell or penn. prob toss up btwn going to Dartmouth or brown. Half were from stuy/Bronx science or similar school in tristate area.

The one thing about Dartmouth that always irritated me was that being in that sort of rural environment with a bunch of mostly UMC and UC people meant that college was simply an extension of prep school and you just stay in that bubble for 4 years. Having grown up the way I did, I found most of the students to be completely naive and sheltered.
