President Donald Trump's son Eric told golf reporter James Dodson three years ago that the family's company got much of its funding to build its golf courses from Russia, according to an interview Dodson gave to WBUR on Friday.
Dodson said he was visiting the Trump National Golf Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, after Trump's public-relations representative invited him there.
When Dodson got there, he told WBUR, "Trump was strutting up and down, talking to his new members about how they were part of the greatest club in North Carolina."
And when Dodson asked Donald Trump how he managed to secure funding for his courses, he said he had access to $100 million.
Dodson recalled that when he then asked Eric Trump to explain where the $100 million came from, Eric said the company wasn't relying on American banks for the funding because American banks had been reluctant to put money into golf courses after the recession.
"We have all the funding we need out of Russia," Eric reportedly said.
"Really?" Dodson recalled answering.
"Oh, yeah," he said Eric Trump answered. "We've got some guys that really, really love golf, and they're really invested in our programs. We just go there all the time."

MOSCOW — When Sergei Gorkov met Jared Kushner at Trump Tower in New York last December, he came prepared to charm him, the Russian way: with an appeal to the motherland.
According to written testimony presented to the Senate Intelligence Committee this week, the head of the Russian state investment bank VEB presented Kushner with a gift: art, along with a “bag of dirt,” from Kushner’s ancestral village in the former Russian imperial territory of Belarus. It was an unusual present, from an unusual figure in the ongoing Trump-Russia saga — one unlike most Russian bureaucrats.
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/politics/ct-kushner-flynn-security-clearance-20170621-story.html
Gorelick has previously acknowledged that Kushner failed to disclose some of his contacts with Russian government officials while he was filling out his security clearance questionnaire. Gorelick said in April that the omissions were an "administrative error," adding that "there was no intent to obscure any foreign meetings, including those with Russia."
Among those meetings that he omitted was a December meeting with Sergey Kislyak, Russia's ambassador to the U.S., and another with the head of a Russian bank.
During the Kislyak meeting, which took place at Trump Tower in New York last December, Kushner proposed a secret back channel between the Kremlin and the Trump transition team, according to a person familiar with the discussions.
In his talks with Kislyak, Kushner broached the idea of a line of communication with Russia to promote sensitive discussions exploring the new administration's possible options in Syria. The goal, according to the person familiar with the meeting, was to connect Flynn, who was Trump's top national security aide at the time, with Russian military leaders. The Washington Post, which first reported the session, said Flynn also attended the meeting.
Kushner also separately met during the transition period with Sergey Gorkov, the top executive of Russia's state-supported VEB bank. The White House said Kushner was acting in his capacity as a transition official at the time. The bank has said that the meeting was part of a new investment strategy that was being unveiled to leading world financial institutions as well as "the head of the Kushner Companies."

"I don't know what that means."
Maybe you should ask the de facto leader of the dem party, Maxine Waters, what she means. It's her talking point.

Alpha Reed Smith bro has Mewler's cuck prosecutors running scared.
They won't even turn over requested discovery materials, and whine about Concord Management mounting a defense to their "conspiracy" charges. These "defenders of American democracy," the crack Mueller team, mewled that seeking necessary discovery to mount a defense was a gambit to obtain details on the U.S. government’s investigation.
What a bunch of fucking hacks.

Hasn't this already happened? Or at least they've already stretched the definition of "collusion" outside its normal bounds.

This Trumpcuck suggested that Maxine has stretched the defintion. I'm just wondering how you define the term. Does in encompass compromising financial entanglements with Russian oligarchs and spies and attempts to pay those subhumans back by killing sanctions and installing a GRU agent in the National Security Council?

Colluding is a good term for libs because it suggests that the two parties actively conspired together towards a common goal. For example, collusion is similar to conspiracy. When we think of conspiracy, we think of two guys in the back of a warehouse room, drawing up plans to rob a bank. Perhaps one guy is the masked gunmen, and the other the getaway driver. If they go on to rob the bank, we don't hold either one less accountable, because they were equally in on it together.
But it's now clear, because of the literal counter-intelligence operation conducted by the CIA/FBI, that the "colluding" contact initiated and flowed in this direction:
Russia/Foreigners/CIA-FBI -------> Trump Campaign
But there is zero fucking evidence of illegal "colluding" conduct in this direction:
Trump Campaign --------> Russia/Foreigners/CIA-FBI
Rather, what you have is a few meetings/emails purposefully setup by an FBI spy, and other IC types, in order to create the appearance of questionable conduct. Knowing what we know now about Stefan Harper (the "Professor"), and how this was all coordinated by our own intelligence community, the setup and entrapment of George P is absolutely sickening:
