one chick was 33 (i'm 33) and seemed desperate and wasn't aging gracefully. she was easy to converse with but didn't hold my interest. 31 yr old who also wasn't aging gracefully but took the initiative. 29 yr old who was cheerful and in excellent shape. she was telling me about her online dating experience and it turned me off. basically, has experienced the pump and dumped and constantly swiping for a year and a half. |

20-24 crowd -- They're either the living embodiment of XO's a thousand cocks and she's still keeping her name meme or I have nothing in common with them. Obviously a lot of the online dating is based off looks, and many are attractive; but you got a good portion that is just 100% into the no-gender identity movement and look like the ideal cyber punk envisioned by some 80s director about a post apocalyptic world.
25-28 crowd -- This tends to be my favorite grouping of women because some are still old enough to have had a few organic relationships so they remember that awkwardness that came with cold-approaching someone or having a relationship develop from mutual interest (instead of just head shots and witty, yet overused one liners). If I were single, I'd probably try to cop someone in the 26 to 28 range. Surprisingly, the Finn-Swede that I dated is 28 and I sometimes wonder what life would have been like had I zigged instead of zagged.
28-34 crowd -- You may have a few gems in here that probably had a long-term relationship ended, and still believe in finding a soul mate or partner for life; howeever, most other women here read like a resume/job posting. Here are my credentials (edu, fitness, job, countries I visited, etc.). They expect you to have equal or better credentials and are obviously focused on finding a suitable partner to raise a kid, instead of a partner to grow old with. A subtle but notable distinction. They view a relationship as a LLP. You can smell the desperation from their profile.
Foreign crowd -- Good and vary from the above description to a certain degree. |
