In the first part they drafted fake news stories and assessed people's ability to call out a bs story. In the final parts they introduced questions whose correct answers were not necessarily ones that you would expect or intuit. Basically, the participant had to read prompts or gather "evidence" to answer the question correctly and put aside a preconceived notion. Anyway, religious fundies are prone to delusion and make judgments based on intuition or feeling, and not analytical analysis. They are far more prone to "fake news."
