It seems more and more likely that a Tesla bankruptcy is a very real possibility.
Tesla was under investigation by the SEC (maybe being invested again?), now being investigated by the NTSB over "Autopilot", which is one of the biggest car scams.
The company is burning billions in cash (while selling ONLY the expensive models), and needs billions more just to survive. Their bonds are in junk territory so raising funds will be expensive. It's likely that potential investors are demanding that they reach their goal of 5,000/week car production or show profitability which explains all the crazy leaked memos/activity -- locking out every contractor unless a Tesla employee personally vouches for them???
Shorting Tesla (or buying puts) might be one of the most lucrative gambles in the next couple years.
