They buried the hatchet and Chevy came on the show some years back.
I think Chevy did himself in. He was a notorious prick and that probably finally outweighed his talent, which is considerable. Sad, because the guy was a really funny motherfucker. Great comedic actor. |

Then Howard called him at home on the air and talked to his Mexican maid. From there it was a years long thing where stuttering John or whoever would fuck with Chevy. there was this flaming queer on the cast named terry sweeny. when everyone was pitching sketch ideas, chevy said "i have a great idea for a sketch. i'll play a doctor, and you're my patient. I diagnose you with AIDS, and each week you come back to see me and you weigh less each time." this was met with crickets. |
