Fans and labor organizations actually showed up to yell and mock the scab players.
But by paying some of the athletes millions of dollars they've completely turned the public onto the side of Management so that Athletes better stick to sports and they get furious if someone sits out OPTIONAL practices. At the same time the average NFL player has less to show that a mid-level biglaw associate.
And since there are no labor disputes, 1987-2017 were pure money making times leading to all the new stadiums and the owners now all have billion dollar teams. |
