There are other sites that have auctions for unmanifested lots. Much cheaper, but bigger gamble (auction description may just be "consumer electronics, orig. MSRP = $10,000") Don't know any off the top of my head (I've only ever used Bulq) |

The descriptions they provided in their manifest for each item as far as physical quality goes (dirty/scratched) is accurate. But take the descriptions about internals ("does not hold a charge, Bluetooth doesn't connect") with a grain of salt- that was the reason claimed when it was returned to the store. So it's entirely probable that someone just tried the item and didn't like it, and made up some excuse when they brought it back.
Big box stores aren't in the market of selling used/open goods to consumers. All major retailers sell off literal truckloads of returns and overstock to liquidators. So Bulq will buy a fuckton of stuff from, say, Amazon. Then divide it up into smaller lots for resale.
I learned about this shit from Youtube. There are lots of people on there who do this as a hustle and talk about the game |
