After a few hours, started walking back to my hotel...and we run into her bf's mother on the street at midnight. Fuck. Perky lied to bf about being out with someone else last night, so it could all hit the fan for her.
At the end of the night, she said she loved me and I her, but it will be awhile before we see each other again. Understandable and for the best. The last goodbye kiss was crushing. It still hurts more than anticipated. I'm going to go get stoned and go to the airport and get shitfaced before flying back to the US. All of this was so fucking stupid. I'd still do it again. |

About a year or two ago, I was in a vaguely similar situation to yours, but the girl's appeal was diametrically opposed to that of the Parisenne. This girl was somewhat chunky, and only somewhat cute. However, she had her PhD in physics and worked on extremely interesting shit. I talked to her for 6 hours straight the first night we met, and we continued talking nonstop. We found every excuse imaginable to meet. Finally, I had to decide that enough was enough and cut that shit out. |
