I love how the Russia conspiracy pumo (it's always a goddamn pumo, isn't it?) gets so amped up about how some lawyer's client tried to kill somebody and that (for some reason) means that any meeting with the lawyer is nefarious
So does that mean I shouldn't have beers with my criminal defense atty bros because they have clients who killed people.

According to Bill Browder (without whom there wouldn't have been a Magnitsky act) the settlement was fair:
"The amount of money the US government could trace to this crime was roughly $1.9 million," Browder said. "It would've been a stretch, even in a good trial, for them to get the full $14 million they were aiming for. So for the government to get triple the amount of money that they found [had been laundered] without having to go through a jury trial ... it was a no-brainer."
Why doesn't the "Trump DOJ" dismiss Mueller?

Yet without Browder there wouldn't have been a Magnitsky act - which is a fact.
If Browder hadn't hired Magnitsky he wouldn't have been able to expose the corruption and so additionally he would still be alive.
