Then we drove around for another few minutes, past a groups of men on a street corner who stared at us as we drove by, then familiar landmarks and next thing I know I was at the hotel entrance with the concierge opening the cab door.

I was with a girl too and we realized there was no way these giant waves weren’t going to toss us around on the approach back to land.
The waves tossed me under water as I tried to get back to land, and I had to brace myself and tank like four huge waves/swimm back to land each time the waves pulled me out. It was also tough because I had to keep myself by the girl and be aware where she was. By the time I got to land I was bone tired. I realized I was very close to dying but in the moment i was just fighting so hard to get back to land I hadn’t thought about anything else.
When I got back to the beach the Brazilians there were looking at me like a fucking idiot |

Date: June 17th, 2018 11:02 AM Author: Awkward Dingle Berry Hairy Legs Very bad case of acute pancreatitis. All of my levels were sky high including blood pressure, Lipase, liver enzymes, and heart rate.
The thing that was freaking out everyone is that my heart was doing the weirdest shit. I would just be laying there and suddenly my heart would go from 60bpm to 200bpm. It's a strange as fuck feeling to be lying perfectly still and your heart triples in speed. Feels like your heart is literally going to explode.
They had me on a constant cardiac monitor in addition to performing EKGs every 30-60 minutes. Every time my heart rate went through the roof, the cardiac monitor would set off an alarm and like 2 doctors and 4 nurses would come rushing in.
The pancreatitis and everything else eventually returned to normal but they were never able to figure out what caused my heart to do that. |

Bit by a recluse while out on maneuvers. Face swole up to the size of a baseball. Had my buddy lance it with my combat knife and sear the cluster of bites.
Came close to freezing to death during another exercise - -40° and a nice ocean breeze. Couldn't feel anything past my knees or elbows for a day or so after.
Almost got shot in the head during a live-fire exercise - but I mostly trust that it was a calculated shot and not a near-fuckup. |
