for the following reasons:

1) it’s a S&W revolver so it’s fuckin reliable and will never jam at a critical moment. Also there’s no safety to fumble with. Admittedly this is true of nearly all revolvers.

2) it’s shrouded hammerless, you don’t even need to remove the weapon from your jacket pocket in order to shoot. This is fuckin huge, since not only do you save the half second or whatever time it takes to draw, but you can have the firearm positioned to shoot the moment you feel uncomfortable, where you’re likely going to wait until the last second to draw a bead using a semi.

3) the cylinder is titanium and the frame is a titanium alloy, meaning that the firearm is extremely lightweight. It’s punishing to shoot but it’s a dream to carry.

4) the 5 round cylinder allows the firearm to be compact as fuck, at the cost of a 6th round.

5) it’s a S&W J-frame so there are a million holster options
