What is the plan for these unaccompanied minors? Now we can't deport them because you can't stick a 6 year old on a plane to Honduras and tell him to fend for himself. Reuniting them with the parents will be difficult and defeats the purpose of separating them in the first place. Shipping them off to foster care effectively DACA-izes them and encourages illegal immigration. Are the taxpayers just adopting every brown kid that gets dragged across the border now?
There are any number of preferable outcomes, from Trumpmo to SJW, that don't involve sending kids to camps. |
