Daily sports games (football, baseball) with kids in the cul de sac. It ruled.

To the extent urbanites say people in the suburbs are boring, it's usually because the people in the suburbs have a lot more family commitments.
It's not like everyone in MFH is more interesting because they go out to a bunch of restaurants and pubs all the time.
Personally I'd find a man with a home wood-working shop more interesting than an urbanite who just goes out to eat and drinks at bars all the time like everyone else there. |
