But with libs framing the conversation about the KIDS of illegal border jumpers, they control the moral high ground. You have to be willing to say, "Fuck the kids," which millions of moderates lack the courage for. Confronted on the kid issue, conservative pols hem and haw and look stupid.
Reagan conservatives knew how to outrace the libs and make THEM have to answer, "yes I would oppose the death penalty if my wife were raped and killed", and "yes I support prison reform, even tho Willie Horton killed while on furlough".
