I am sure there are reasons for it, but I wonder what it would be like if everyone was more friendly, caring, and understanding, and focused more on comfort. For example, I remember being in the grocery store or something and I said how can the cashiers stand there all day? Why can't they just have chairs? My boyfriend said it wouldn't be professional, or something like that. I dunno...I just don't see what is so wrong with making things more comfortable.
