Me: "I agree that the separation of families is inhumane. However, what is your idea for preventing the mass inflow of illegal immigrants and discouraging illegal entry and human trafficking into the United States? What reforms would you suggest?"
Lib friend: "It doesn't seem like you REALLY agree...it seems like you're JUSTIFYING IT."
Me: "Again, I agree this policy is inhumane. What are you alternative ideas to deal with illegal immigration?"
Lib friend: "You don't really seem ANGRY about this though!"
Me: Sigh.
