Roughly a tenth or so of this number qualify as refugees (peak of Obama admin was 85k in 2016) http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/01/30/key-facts-about-refugees-to-the-u-s/
Over half of these refugees come from Muslim countries.
Estimates (again from lib sources) say that roughly 30k Mexicans/Central Americans cross the US border a month.
Will someone please help me understand how all of these people are Central American refugees seeking asylum from violence? Do they all claim it?
