find the difference between this percentage and .0625, this will be the amount
do this again for 106251/6251
find the difference between this case and the base case, this will be your rate
divide amount by rate. add this number to both sides of your base case. this should get you the #? i think i run into trouble case the decimals are very small, excel cant handle the decimals and so it cant get correct answer. |

tl;dr. he gets 6,250 shares. |
