Butch Cassidy, Wyatt Earp, and a coterie of ragtag cowboys travel through time and are dropped off in present-day South Side Chicago. They are introduced to gangbanger Lamar Washington and earn his trust after killing a rival faction in an impromptu shootout. They cowboys try to make their way to the site of the former Cabrini Green apartments to access a portal back home, but are targeted for death when mistaken for the "Bandana Boys," a colorful homosexual street gang. Despite the setbacks, they return home to the Wild West after learning the true meaning of brotherhood and honor from their new friends.

Also has a cameo by Billy Crystal, who is shot to death.
