i did a formal course that took days, when you first do its not something thats easy to get use to and thats just doing it in a pool or in open calm water

learning to dive in a fuking cave with no air pockets above and no light jfc, some of these kids are gonna panic and fuking get DET

i wonder if they are gonna be able to use those masks that cover the entire head and supply air that way so the kids dont have to learn to breath through the scuba gear directly whatever

Also it looks like they were able to get a shit ton of water out from the photos so its actually probably easier than we're lead to believe at this point

If they needed to dive extensively in zero visibility they would have very little chance but it's not clear at all how much diving is required at this point

To be fair, they asked this question and the reply was "no comment" and the media was cool with that reply

It seems the boys may not need to have dive at all, though this has not been 100% confirmed by officials.

I learned to scuba dive in like 30 minutes. Granted, I'm an expert swimmer, but i imagine other swimmers will be doing most of the swimming for these kids.
