yeah, sure sounds like a recipe for long-term health and fitness! and not like a surefire pathway to injury. this is a reminder for you dorks that this is what the meathead "lifters" here and elsewhere are advocating for when they recommend that the average dude should just go out there and deadlift 200-400 lb after work.

I can’t pull 500 lbs. My best was 435, but that was at a 145 body weight.

And I’m not pulling that heavy anymore, because my form breaks down at high weights and there’s no reason to max out my #s anymore. But I still deadlift, trap bar deadlift, power clean, RDL, etc. at reasonably heavy (but manageable) weights because it’s good for both health and aesthetics. If you knew anything I wouldn’t even need to spell this out for you.
