this stuff is nonsense. and doubling down on gas engines is absurd. fine in existing technology but consumer VTOL planes couldnt hit the market for a decade or more and would take several more decades to roll out, get pilots trained, etc. at that point you are competing with drone-like multi-rotor electric choppers that are, mechanically speaking, much simpler (and cheaper) to build and operate. |
