I imagine being a true believer liberal must be very demoralizing, with every development causing intense whiplash. Sounds tiring.

The weirdest part is how they think negative stories about Trump cause the same distress to us as positive stories do to them. Even if the swamp eventually sinks his presidency, we're going to keep rooting for him while he fights to the bitter end. And when a Dem president is elected, I'll still look back on the past few years fondly, while liberals will see it as some cataclysm whose effects will be felt for decades.
