Sure, if you are fine with your only exit options being "White Collar Defense" for some firm.
I used to dream about being a FedProsBros when I was a state ProsBro. But after being in private practice for awhile and enjoying the freedom I have and the AMOUNT OF MONEY I can bring in?
Nah, fuck that.

Also cr.
No matter how prestigious on paper, youre still just a govt wagecuck.
Oftentimes the dudes youre going up against have a 10x better quality of life and make more than you.

GODDAMN you become a govt wagecuck.
Every AUSA I interact with I pity. Sure they're the top-tier amongst gubment lawyers.
But compared to Bros in private practice that are KILLING IT? Nah, I feel sorry for them.
-Micro-managed
-Can ONLY do whatever their particular section is focused on
-At the whims of budget freezes and govt shut-downs
-Their pay is equal to what Federal Public Defenders make.
- Plus, what exit options do they have besides White Collar litigation?
