I feel this way. The colleagues I've confided in, however, have accused me of "magical thinking." I see where they're coming from, but I really do think you change your luck when you change your environment.

some people are just malcontents and ad the same time build up absurd expectations for the grass on the other side. this is different from change to get out of a rut where you recognize that that's what you're looking to get out of it, rather than utopia. where you're at depends on personality type, I've known both
