Harris, OTOH, will blow through all those southern primaries unless somehow Cory Booker sticks around. Even if Obama doesn't come out in support of her, I think he at worst stays neutral and the story is he won't endorse his own VP. I also think Biden's not running and if he does run he gets worked in NH And NV and SC knocks him out.
The more interesting question is what happens if and when both Warren and Sanders run. Does that split Bernie's voters or would Warren pick up a lot of the Hillary tacklebox full of buttplugs, etc. voters. I think Bernie's in a tough spot and it will be really interesting to see if he goes after Warren hard.
The good news for Trump is that they're all terrible on TV, terrible on the stump and he can definitely beat any of them if the economy hasn't tanked by 2020. |

He's going to have a much bigger support from his base. Mainstream Republicans will be far more likely to vote for him because he'll have proven for 4 years that the lib hysterics are nonsense. He'll have passed tax reform.
His base will love him even more. They won't see that his tariffs and tax cuts aren't working, but they'll see he is TRYING to protect them - which is more than any politician has done for them in the past 30 years. |
