yeah I've trolled for it in a couple threads
Jeremy Renner may not have been the optimal choice, but I think his acting is pretty solid, despite mumbling at times
I legit cried at the FBI chick in the hospital bed saying "She ran 6 miles in the snow..."
score is also excellent

the fact that the villains are white is irrelevant.
they're the villains because they don't fucking belong there, not ethnically but culturally. In the rapist's death scene, he's bitching about there being nothing to do, just "the fucking snow and the fucking silence." They're outsiders, guns for hire on some fucking oil rig with no connection to the land.
Now, you see the distinction between them and the heroes. Renner is the quintessential man of the land, a skilled tracker and hunter who fits right in, white or not. The FBI chick is interesting because at first she is a total outsider, shows up in the wrong clothes, etc. But she's different from the villains because she embraces the environment and cares about the people in it. She is ultimately redeemed by her good faith effort to be helpful
