Notre Dame has more schedule restrictions now due to half-joining the ACC. They should have just joined the Big Ten after Penn State did (and then capped it off at 12 teams. More is silly.)

ND has 5 ACC, Navy, USC, Stanford, that's 8. But I agree it should have been PSU + ND to B1G. |

B1G moved to a 9-game conference schedule in 2016 as announced in 2013. The second after the 2014 ND-Michigan game ended, Michigan would have ended the ND-Michigan schedule & get the last home game in 2017 for essentially a home-and-home in the 2016-17 9-game years.
