exeunt is a dweeb who gets his picks from reading the WSJ. he has no tech knowledge, and he's certainly no visionary. he's a superstudy queer who amassed a list of "reputable" names and any crypto that has those names on their website, he picks them. every single time he's deviated from this script, he's been wrong. he's dull-witted, old fashioned, and risk-averse, as can be seen from him telling fat old shortquotemo to "get back in" to biglaw despite his failing health and having already amassed a fortune. i wonder how such a character got into the wild world of crypto in the first place.. surely it was not divine providence as his clinging to the title "magical asian" might suggest. perhaps he had a tech friend from college who recommended it. maybe he was really gripped from reading a particular blog. regardless, he got his start somewhere, from someone else, as did we all. now in the beginning, he was motivated by jitteriness to spam about ETH and seek like-minded individuals to hype each other up and not feel nervous about where he put his savings. later, as ETH shot up, he felt a brief warm glow of gratitude from sudden success and the bestowing of the title "Magical asian" upon him. then, as this glow wore off and the market became tougher and he found his magical touch was nowhere to be found in a sideways market, he became ever more taciturn and cryptic and retreated away from the board. the magnanimity was gone. and yet still he sought recognition and acknowledgement, and this culminated in his two-faced bumping of that thread from july that lawman8 rightfully called him out on. now none of this about exeunt is particularly bad, it just makes him a regular insecure dweeb. however, what is striking is that he, like peterman, has adopted the mindset that their success in crypto was due to their own grit, intelligence, and hard work, and that anyone who isn't as successful is a stupid wimpy failure. he has, in other words, totally internalized the nature of his success, in the one market and in the one endeavor that is ludicrously about external forces over individual. this puts him beyond dweeb, and squarely into pathetic bad man territory.

as for lawman8, i never before had much of an opinion about him, but now i see that he's 180.
