Yes, you can do this in Chrome.

On a Mac:

Open the JavaScript console ("View" -> "Developer" -> "JavaScript Console")

Click on the "Console" tab

You should see a ">" for the console. Click in this area.

Copy/paste this in the console and press Enter:

for (;;) { alert("%last_modified_date") };

if you have chrome open just do the shortcut Alt+f4 then right click "page history" and scroll down to the bottom. 30% of the time date will be there.
