Trumpmo to the end here. GOP will lose seats in congress similar to Obama in 2010. Dem base is energized.

Sucks but that's what's probably going to happen.

Dems won't win close to the 63 seats the GOP won in 2010, but they will win 30-35 House seats. Senate will be super close.

It's mostly Trump's fault, as his behavior has infuriated not just libs but also college educated suburban white moderates.

November is not going to be fun. However, the problem with democrats is that they're fucking insane assholes, and after a few years of the public seeing these people for who they are, Trump will be in good shape for 2020.

Also, I think this is a more natural political position for Trump to be in; he'll be in constant warfare mode with dem congressional leaders. This is what he's best at, fighting dems (and people named Bush).

Remarkable how little GOP got done despite controlling Congress and the White House. I do place a lot of blame on the congressional republicans for their cowardice and lack of action.

Remember: John McCain saved Obamacare.

Still though, it hasn't been all bad, tax reform was a major plus.

They got what they could get done with 52/51 votes; Judges and tax reform (plus the end of the mandate). Didn’t help that Ryan was checked out in trying to “lead” the House.

Tax reform was a enormous deal, so all in all, I don't consider it a loss.

The wall needs to get built though.

the tax reform has increased the deficit so far to c. $77 billion/month with no corresponding spending cuts in the budget, though. it's not good to be running deficits during periods of strong economic GROWTH - you're supposed to do the opposite. stimulus during recession; savings during expansion.
