On the other hand, this is not a sexy company and I don't have much faith in it.
Also they need a lot of direction from the board at the moment, so It would be a lot of work....and all for only $10k.

The lawsuit potential is real, regardless of BJR. You have to make sure the company has you well covered with respect to D&O coverage, etc. |

You should receive stock compensation as part of an incentive package that fosters alignment and 10k cash on top of that. I would expect 40k on the absolute low end and something more like 75k cash and 75k stock for a company with an enterprise value of $500-750m.
