Limited run Japanese muscle car (v8, 400 horsepower) that competed with the M3 and C63. Vast majority of target market chose one of the German options. After the latest gen IS redesign Toyota stopped putting a V8 in them. No more Japanese muscle car :(

A few years later people realized that it was actually pretty awesome because unlike the m3 or amg, they last forever because they're built with Lexus' autistic OCD-like attention to detail and pursuit of perfection. And they go 0-60 in like 4.5 seconds.

I don't think there is a Lexus badge in Korea. It's an 80k luxury sedan with a leather-stitched cockpit on par with a 100k Mercedes that sounds like a 5.0 L coyote when you rev it. Korean girls might like his car better though, idk

This is pretty crazy and should put something of a damper on M/AMG sales

I know these Lexus F-cars cars weren't received that well but this is kind of a best case scenario for them

given that all of that shit is computer-controlled, how much faster could you make a car like that if you modified the parameters in the control chip to remove things like speed limits?

faster? you'll just eventually float a valve or something, but probably 160-170. quicker? not much, you'd need to change gearing or add horsepower/reduce weight
