Wearing a night guard sucks and ruins my sleep/quality of life. On the other hand, I wake up and my teeth hurt. They feel weak and I can start to feel the chasms from all the grinding. Dentists have repeatedly said the enamel is almost totally gone. Is there any alternative to the night guard? Some chemical that rebuilds enamel? I can't fall asleep with them in my mouth. I start grinding my teeth in the mouth guard before dozing off and can't stop.
The closest I've come to curing it is just having a good day and getting everything done and not stressing about the next morning when I go to bed. I can count the # of times that's happened this year on 1 hand. |
