But this is the reality and presidents don’t get the 98-0 deference that was shown to Ginsburg anymore.
Obama could have nominated an actual centrist or a conservative and had them approved. He was not going to because he is a liberal. Senate advised him that Garland was not acceptable. Tough luck. I guess win the senate next time or nominate a centrist. |
