SJC vote set. no chance he'd do this if he didnt have flake's okay IMO. if flake is down, then collins and murk must be.

from politico:

UPDATE:

The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote on Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, according to a notice sent out by the panel.

The committee will choose whether to approve Kavanaugh's nomination fewer than 24 hours after Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford appear before the panel to discuss Ford's allegation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her more than 30 years ago.

Er no, Flake is the only one on the committee. They can work on Collins and Murk later.

He couldn’t shut it down right away without risking political costs. Dems overplayed their hand and now look stupid

cr. libs megaphone organs will blare, into eternity (new yorker and nyt most prominently), that any opinion by kavanaugh is tainted by the "UNANSWERED ALLEGATIONS" about him that republicans brazenly ignored blah blah blah. slimebags.

no chance that MISH would have said we're gonna "ram this through" and make the speech he made yesterday if he didnt have the three losers (murk/flake/collins) on bort imo.

it has nothing to do with flake. scotus nominations are special and always advance to the full senate regardless of the committee vote

Is that true? Just cuz it’s written they’ve voted the nominee out 100 percent of the time. I was being sincere in my question.
