Evil would imply there was a being which would be perpetrating the evil and for evil to exist there would also have to be an opposite concept, which would be "good" which in a sense mean perhaps there was a way beyond or freedom from evil.
The universe seems rather indifferent to human fate. Indifference indicates purposelessness. The whole of human effort is dedicating toward finding purpose and meaning.
Evil at least aligns with that. Indifference is scarier. |
