1) GOVERNOR
-JOHN H. COX
I'll probably hold my nose and vote for Cox, but could wind up abstaining as well. Gavin will win regardless, and I'm not sure whether I'll wind up supporting such a terrible candidate and NeverTrumper like Cox.
2) LT. GOVERNOR
-ELENI KOUNALAKIS
Seems better on fighting tuition and protecting the environment, which are the main subject areas that the Lt. Gov has influence over.
3) SECRETARY OF STATE
-MARK . MEUSER
Hell yeah!
4) CONTROLLER
-BETTY T. YEE
Betty's better for public transit and environmentalism.
5) TREASURER
-GREG CONLON
Hell yeah!
6) ATTORNEY GENERAL
-STEVEN C BAILEY
Hell yeah!!!
7) INSURANCE COMMISSINER
-STEVE POIZNER
Hell yeah.
"Poizner earned a reputation as an advocate for consumers, not insurance companies. One example is the rules he pursued over fierce industry opposition to govern how insurers calculated “replacement cost,” or the amount paid to customers whose homes were destroyed."
Additionally, although Steve has cucked a bit over the years, in 2010 he was strongly opposed to illegal immigration.

8a) MEMBER, STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION 1st DISTRICT
-TED GAINES
Weak on public transit, but some skepticism towards statewide expenditures is acceptable, given that the Democratic candidate is calling for the elimination of the oversight board.
8b) MEMBER, STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION 2nd DISTRICT
-MARK BURNS
Better for fair oversight.
8c) MEMBER, STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION 3rd DISTRICT
-G. RICK MARSHALL
Better for oversight.
8d) MEMBER, STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION 4TH DISTRICT
I won't go against the earlier endorsement of JOEL, but I will say that I appreciate Mike Schaefer's degree of batshit crazy. (http://sdcitybeat.com/news-and-opinion/letters-to-the-editor/letters-just-say-nope/) Note that Schaefer in the candidate guide "endorses" Howard Jarvis rather than is endorsed by. Crafty dudester.
9) U.S. SENATOR
-DIANE FEINSTEIN
Might abstain, but will probably vote for Leakin' Diane--Her Kav antics notwithstanding her policymaking has been historically much more favorable to American citizens than Boxer/Harris's have been. Kevin de Leon is much more SJW.
With Trump repairing the GOP brand, I think its plausible that GOP will start being able to compete in CA Elections again. GOP will have a much easier time winning if they don't have to go up against a young incumbent next time around.
A vote for Diane will have a saner senator in the short term, and opens the door to a great senator winning in a few years.
10) SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION
-MARSHALL TUCK
Charter school bro.

VOTE TO KEEP OR REJECT THE CALIFORNIA SUPREME COURT JUDGES:
1) Carol A. Corrigan:
-YES, KEEP -- Arnold appointed her
2) Leondra R. Kruger:
-NO, REJECT -- Brown appointee
3) I'm not going to look into all of the Court of Appeal judge races, but you may want to consider which governor appointed your regional Court of Appeal judges

Agreed.
PROP 2: AUTHORIZES BONDS TO FUND EXISTING HOUSING PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS.

Uses existing funds to pay back bonds, and we probably do need to build facilities to store the bums somewhere.

Thoughts on Prop 5 anyone?
PROP 6: ELIMINATES ROAD REPAIR AND TRANSPORTATION FUNDING. REQUIRES CERTAIN FUEL TAXES AND VEHICLE FEES BE APPROVED BY THE ELECTORATE. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.
-NO!!!
Infrstructure is underfunded as well. I’d much rather pay for it with taxes rather than with bonds (which require spending twice as much in taxes in the long term)
It would affect the following projects: http://rebuildingca.ca.gov/map.html
PROP 7: CONFORMS CALIFORNIA DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME TO FEDERAL LAW. ALLOWS LEGISLATURE TO CHANGE DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME PERIOD. LEGISLATIVE STATUTE.
-Yes
Gets us in harmony with the solar cycle rather than the whims of Global Capitalism.

My ambulance driver bro says shoot this one down.
